I am new to the Shingle Springs Veterinary team and enjoying everyday of it! I have been around animals my entire life and have a passion for farm animals in particular. When I am not at work you will find me doing homework, taking care of my horse, and hanging out with my dog!

Kathy

A friend called me back in 2019 and asked if I wanted to work Dr. Bader as he needed a receptionist asap. It wasn’t what I would have applied for as I had zero Veterinary experience but agreed to help out. Fast forward to the present day - our Clients are some of the nicest people I have ever met, making this job so enjoyable. Getting to be around so many animals every day warms my heart and brings a smile to my face. I have lived in El Dorado County since 1972 - there has been a lot of growth since then and being able to still live and work in this county has been a blessing. I have two son’s Nathan and Devin , 2 horses “Cowboy” and “Firefly”, 2 cats “Safetyman” and “Kimshee” and my German Shepherd “Stella” - when I’m not busy with them I find time to cruise my 1974 Corvette Stingray - oldie but a goody and lots of fun
